'Meditating Moments' by Cynthia Denise Brown

I believe that God speaks to us and instructs us in the precious, quiet moments of life. In the still of silence, meditation, and reflection, lies God’s 'impartation 'of knowledge and wisdom. I wrote Meditating Moments for these reasons: I enjoy writing, I need to relax, I love teaching through the art of storytelling. More importantly, I am obliged to share God’s vision with others. I hope that you enjoy Meditating Moments. It’s a book of spiritually-inspired, short stories of encouragement, empowerment and comedy. And yes, I included some adult COLORING PAGES! Coloring is a great stress reliever. As a children’s author, I am proud to have a child’s imagination. Coloring takes me right back to kindergarten! So, adults grab your crayons, find your perfect meditating spot and let’s go back to kindergarten, while we reflect on God’s word with Meditating Moments! Enjoy, Cbrown.

FOREWORD
There are some books we wait for, and we do not even know we are waiting for it. This is the case when you read Meditating Moments by Cynthia Brown.

Cynthia has always had a voice inside of her destined to speak and speak it has. It is interesting in her book she is telling us the voice inside of you speaks the loudest after you take some time to listen and meditate.

I suggest that you read Meditating Moments and listen so the fresh wind of the Holy Spirit, and let it refresh you. She is letting us know the simplicity of things can cause monumental changes in your life.

Cynthia is telling us we need to stop our stage performance and take a look at the audience so we can see who is lifting us.

The waiting is over now, relax and have a meditating moment as Cynthia suggest we do.

PREFACE
Like most people, I wear many hats: I am a minister’s wife, a mother and an author. I try to be active in my local community. Although I complain about the ‘self-inflicted’ wounds of my hectic schedule, I am no hypocrite: I admit that my life motor thrives on the fuel of mayhem. Nonetheless, I indeed realize when I need to slow down, take a pause and relax. More importantly, I know when I must yield to God’s voice.

I believe that God speaks to us and instructs us in the precious, quiet moments of life. In the still of silence, meditation, and reflection, lies God’s impartation of knowledge and wisdom.

I wrote Meditating Moments for these reasons: I enjoy writing, I need to relax, I love teaching through the art of storytelling. More importantly, I am obliged to share God’s vision with others.

Following is a snapshot of the stories. Please enjoy Meditating Moments.
